Interesting day ahead

Hey everyone!

As predicted, my team totally dominated our little game of capture the flag. The strategy was simple, commanded by the wise words and experience of our leader Lendyll, “What ever you do, just DON”T let Sean get out, they’ll get desperate!!!”… and what happned?? Just that! Let’s go ahead and all give a silent round of applause to my good friend Stephen, it took a while, but we were finally able to maneuver our way to the flag. So if there is anything that could possibly brighten this very slow, tiring, and increasingly frustrating day, it would be blazing sense of pride and self satisfaction on the faces of the fellow winners…..(too competitive, huh?)

Today will be an interesting day… Most of us (the guys anyway) are functioning on only a  few hours of sleep. After blogging its off to lunch, which I hope will last a while and not be cut short due to Stephen and I’s interview at one… Post interview, its off to the Darfur presimulation. I’m not sure exactly as to what we’ll be doing, but we will be broken off into teams and will have to take sides from major powers in the world and all come together to find a solution.

Tonight there will be another game, and yet again, another miserable, heartbreaking, crushing, humiliating defeat for the other teams. I seriously hope the European Fellows will be able to take part in a true Fourth of July celebration tonight, experiencing the whole firework ordeal.

                                                                                                                                                             Until next time…
